Regulations & Safety

Effortless believes in safe & responsible travel and we're following all recommended procedures by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local governments. As community advocates & hospitality providers, Effortless has a pulse on all COVID-19 related industry news and we adjust proceeses to align with changes as they arise.


Effortless understands the need for increased flexibility in travel planning. And we're working deligently with all guests to resolve reservation issues that arise. If you are a guest that booked with Effortless through Airbnb, VRBO or Expedia, please contact those platforms for reservation information and support. We respect every guest and appreciate your understanding as the current situation evolves. *Effortless Rental Group does not recommend leisure travel.

Housekeeping & Sanitation

Effortless provides all guests with safe & clean stays. Our practices & standards have been modified to include more in-depth, multi-point cleans after every guest checkout, ie., use of CDC compliant cleaning products, attention to high-touch surfaces and 'hot-spots' and social distancing. As always, we advise guests to practice hygenic vigilance when using rental properties (see: CDC Best Personal Practices).


Effortless is actively working with homeowners to resolve present issues. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible. As travel behavior evolves, Efortless wants to assure all homeowners that we're doing everything we can to make sure properties stay occupied while adhearing to CDC and state-recommended guidelines. Effortless Rental Group is using the Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professional (VRHP) and Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) recommendations for all existing cleaning programs. These protocols follow CDC & WHO guidelines in addition to more rigorous sanitation specific to short-term rental properties.

Effortless Rental Group provides lodging for thousands of guests a year, and property management services for hundreds of homeowners. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, in partnership with our donating homeowners, we’ve developed a program to immediately provide for discounted lodging to eligible members of the community who are affected by this quickly developing virus.

Who Qualifies?

Medical professionals and military personnel assisting with emergency response efforts - We imagine that there may be some areas where medical or military professionals are needed due to outbreaks of the illness, and we’d love to help house these folks comfortably as they help our communities.

Local Emergency Responders - Due to the amount of exposure our emergency responders are getting just by the nature of their line of work, it may make sense for them to find alternative locations to live in during this time if they don’t live alone.

Qualified Individuals (on a case-by-case basis) - We haven’t thought of everything. And unforeseen guest circumstances & stays may arise. If you have any suggestions, feel free to email us at We're grateful for any and all feedback!
